Usage Policy

What you may and may not do with the Service, and who is responsible for content.

Version 2026-10-24.1 · Effective 24 October 2026

1. Who this applies to

This Usage Policy applies to everyone who creates an account on Nimblog (the "Service"), which is operated by its owner ("Nimblog", "we", "us"), and to all content imported, uploaded or published through it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. You are responsible for your content

You are solely responsible for all content you import, upload, publish or otherwise make available through the Service, including text, images, media, comments and metadata ("Your Content"), and for the consequences of publishing it. We do not review Your Content before it is published, we are not obliged to monitor it, and we do not endorse it.

3. You must own it or have the rights to it

  • You may only import, upload or publish content that you own or that you are licensed or otherwise legally permitted to use and publish in this way. This includes every image and media file.
  • You may only import from a live website that you own or control (or are authorized in writing by its owner to migrate). The Service asks for proof of ownership; providing false proof or circumventing that check violates this policy.
  • Comments and personal data imported with your site remain your responsibility under applicable privacy law.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the Service to host, publish, distribute or link to content, or to engage in conduct, that:

  • is illegal under the laws that apply to you, to us or to your site's visitors, or promotes illegal activity;
  • infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other right of any person, including content copied or scraped from websites you do not own;
  • is adult or sexually explicit content, including pornography, sexually explicit images, video or text, and links or advertising for such content. Adult content is not permitted on the Service, even where it is legal where you live and even behind an age warning;
  • contains malware, phishing, exploit code, cryptominers or anything designed to harm devices, systems or people, or attempts to break, probe or overload the Service or other users' sites;
  • is spam, including mass-produced, scraped, auto-generated or keyword-stuffed pages published to manipulate search engines, link schemes, or unsolicited advertising;
  • sexually exploits or endangers minors, is non-consensual intimate imagery, incites violence, harasses or threatens people, or promotes terrorism or hatred against protected groups;
  • impersonates any person or organization, or is deceptive or fraudulent.

5. Copyright complaints (notice and takedown)

We respond to notices of alleged infringement. If you believe content on a site hosted by the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to abuse@nimblog.com including: (a) your contact details; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL(s) of the material you want removed; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; (e) a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where that applies, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or disable the material, or suspend the site, and notify the site owner. A site owner who believes the material was removed by mistake may send a counter-notice to the same address with the equivalent information; where the law allows, we may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have started legal proceedings.

Repeat infringers. We keep a record of substantiated infringement notices. Accounts and sites that are the subject of repeated substantiated notices are permanently suspended, and we may refuse new accounts from the same person.

6. What we may do

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, disable, remove or restrict access to any site, content or account that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, contains adult or sexually explicit content, or is abusive, spam, malware, phishing or scraped, or that otherwise violates this policy or the Terms, creates legal risk, or threatens the security or operation of the Service or others. This includes refusing or stopping an import, unpublishing a site, replacing every page of a site with a suspension notice, and suspending or terminating an account.

We may preserve relevant information and report illegal content (including any child sexual abuse material) and the related account details to law-enforcement or other competent authorities, and we cooperate with valid legal requests.

Where appropriate and lawful we will tell you what happened and, unless the content is illegal or the law prevents it, you can still export your content from a suspended site.

7. Appeals

If you believe your site or account was suspended or your content removed by mistake, email abuse@nimblog.com from the email address of your account, with the site's address and why you believe the decision was wrong. We review every appeal in good faith and may restore the site or account; our decision after review is final.

8. Reporting abuse

Report sites on the Service that contain illegal, infringing, adult, spam, malware or phishing content with our abuse report form or by email to abuse@nimblog.com. Include the URL and a short description.
